Everyday a new chapter. But in catalan.
This episode really angered me. First of all, Enric is the one who started things with Max. Enric is the one who gave the first kiss, and then continued to pursue a relationship with Max. Max even tried to reject Enric's advances. However, Enric persisted, and Max eventually accepted Enric. Then Enric has the nerve to reject and disrespect Max the way he did in front of his homophobic friend, not sticking up for Max or admitting that they were "together". I don't blame Max for reacting as he did, and Enric certainly deserved to be punched. I felt like punching him myself!
I would do anything to have a boyfriend like Max. He is tall, handsome, compassionate, caring, loving, loyal, romantic, and firm when he needs to be. All of the attributes that would match perfectly with my own personality.
What happened to Max happened to me a few years ago. I was together with this guy for about three years. We, or so I thought, were very much in love, and still very much in the closet. I wanted to come out, but he forbid it. Many of his friends were the tough guys of the town. His friends found out about us, and he had to choose between them and me. He chose them. I was devastated, and we were both quite miserable after that. We were deeply in love, but he was afraid of what his so called friends would do to him, and that they would tell his family about our relationship. He tried to get back with me a few times after that, but I did not accept him back. To this day, I still love him very much, and wonder about him. I probably should have forgiven him and taken him back, but I could not keep our love a secret any longer. I could not deal with him hiding me and our relationship from his friends and family.
I would love to have a man like Max, Enric should have appreciated what he had. Oh my god! Listen to me! I am, talking as if these characters are real. I wish that Max and Enric would work things out and that their relationship can be permanent, and they remain happy together despite the challenges that they face. They may not be, but the situation sure is!
